Watch Now
Abstract: In the current digital landscape, regulations and compliance for data privacy are non-negotiable due to vast amounts of sensitive information being generated and processed globally. Security leaders must stay abreast of any potential threat to their information security architecture, as regulations directly impact the security policy. Today’s organizations must establish a robust data governance framework for effective data management and safeguarding privacy. A comprehensive data governance framework begins with defining a clear data collection, storage, and sharing approach. This includes defining the purpose of data collection, specifying the data types collected, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry-specific standards. This webinar explains the importance of data protection and how a company can achieve it. It also explores how implementing access control, regular audits, and assessments, regular updates, employee awareness training programs, etc., can protect data from unauthorized access or breaches. These steps ensure the safety of a company’s sensitive data and foster a cybersecurity culture within the organization.
Key takeaways:
- Importance of data protection from a compliance viewpoint
