Most organizations believe that business continuity management (BCM) and crisis management (CM) are two different things and thus subject them to different reporting lines. Due to this, they miss out on leveraging the power of interconnecting the two while managing a disruption that compromises their reputation and/or business operations. This integration cannot be overlooked and should be taken seriously for the betterment of the organization’s ability to handle and respond to disruptive events.
