I am an IT professional with over 15 years of experience with working in reputed global organization that provide IT services across the globe. I joined the IT Security and Cybersecurity field 3 years ago and I’m currently working as Project Manager in the field of IT Infra Security / GRC / Application Security.
As a Project Manager’s in the cybersecurity umbrella, my role requires good understanding of cybersecurity concepts and technologies, which will help run the program effectively and securely.
When I initially started the program at EC-Council University (ECCU), it was little bit hectic as being a full time working professional. It took some time to understand the methodology of online study model, as it was new to me. Gradually I managed to inculcate this program within my daily schedule and realized that it was becoming easy to study and handle my work load.
I created a study schedule for the entire semester and stuck to it. There were some instances where during some part of the month, the work load was higher. To overcome this hurdle, I used to spend more time studying on other days, which had less work load.
The various option to select the type and number of courses each semester made things even more flexible, due to which, it was very easy to complete them on schedule. The grading system in ECCU is very unique and time frame given which is week on week is very convenient.
Even the backend team and faculty of ECCU were very supportive, clearing my queries. I would also like to thank and appreciate my student advisor, Renuka, who was very enthusiastic and supportive, not only during time of admission but also during my entire journey with ECCU. She was very quick and prompt to resolve my queries.
In my opinion, online education is a good choice for working professionals. In fact, this is the best and only option.
The ECCU MSCS program helped me achieve my desired objective as I got a chance to dive deep in many new technologies, which is a part of ECCU’s syllabus. The online labs, especially in Penetration Testing, was marvellous and through it I gained good amount of knowledge.
